The Artist and Hugo are tied with five Oscar wins, the most for any film. Like last year, there was a tie for the most wins. The Iron Lady went 2-for-2.

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards
IN about 15 minutes, the 54th Annual Grammy Awards will air LIVE on CBS, from the Staples Center in Los Angeles (home of the L.A. Lakers), hosted by LL Cool J. The glitz and the glamour of the recording industry's most important night of the year has taken a backseat this year with the death of singer Whitney Houston yesterday.

The 84th Annual Academy Award Nominations
This morning, the nominations for the 84th Annual Academy Awards are being announced from the Academy's Headquarters at the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Hollywood by Academy President Tom Sherak and one of last year's nominees, Jennifer Lawrence (Winter's Bone).

The 68th Annual Golden Globes: LIVE Blogging
In about 30 minutes, the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards will air LIVE on NBC, once again hosted by comedian Ricky Gervais. This awards ceremony, run by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, honors achievements in both film and television. Once again, A Man and His Awards will be blogging while watching what Hollywood calls the "Party of the Year".

The Grammy Nominations Concert Special
In just about a few minutes, the Grammy Nominations Concert Special will kick off on CBS, once again hosted by Grammy-winning rap star and actor LL Cool J. Only a handful of nominations will be announced, and there are changes from last year. The number of categories has gone down from 109 for last year's Grammys, to 78. Only ten categories will be announced on the night of the Grammycast on February 12.

LIVE Blogging of the Emmys
The Emmys begin in less than 15 minutes, hosted by Glee's own Jane Lynch, herself a nominee. Her category actually will be the first of 25 categories to be announced tonight. The show will be produced by Mark Burnett and lots of surprises are going to be expected.
8PM- The ceremony has just begun. All of the stars are here tonight. Leonard Nimoy meets with Jane Lynch to host the Emmys.
8:01PM- Lynch starts singing. A lot of people don't know she is musically trained. Ari Gold & Lloyd join in on "TV is a Vast Wonderland".
8:02PM- Kevin Nealon makes a walk-on, as does Eric Dane, the Big Bang geeks ("I hate it when musical numbers come through our apartment.- Jim Parsons's Sheldon)
