The 70th Annual Golden Globes Real-Time Results

Welcome back.

The 70th Annual Golden Globes will start in just a few seconds from the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, hosted by actresses Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who are both nominees as well, for their roles on their respective shows (Fey for 30 Rock and Poehler for Parks and Recreation).  The stars have arrived for "The Party of the Year".

8:00PM- THE SHOW has begun with the two hostesses kicking things off.

8:01PM- "Those of you at home, I wish you could feel the excitement."- Tina Fey

8:01PM- "Ricky Gervais could not be here tonight.  He is no longer in show business."- Tina Fey

8:09PM- Christoph Waltz wins the Golden Globe for Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in "Django Unchained".

8:11PM- Kerry Washington and Dennis Quiad present the Golden Globe for Supporting Actress in Television.

8:12PM- Dame Maggie Smith wins the Golden Globe for Supporting Actress in a Television Program for "Downton Abbey".

8:12PM- First Commercial Break

8:16PM- Eva Longoria and Don Cheadle present Francesca Eastwood (daughter of Frances Fisher and Clint Eastwood) and Sam Fox (son of Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan)- Miss and Mister Golden Globe, and then the nominees for Best Miniseries or TV Movie.

8:17PM- "Game Change", the HBO film about Sarah Palin's rise as the GOP Vice Presidential candidate in the 2008 Presidential Election wins the Golden Globe for Best Miniseries or TV Movie.

8:19PM- "With Tina Fey and Julianne Moore, we now have the three most incredible impersonations of Sarah Palin, including Sarah Palin."- Jay Roach accepting the Golden Globe for Game Change.

8:20PM- Cheadle and Longoria also present the Golden Globe for Lead Actress in a Miniseries or TV Movie.

8:21PM- Poehler in disguise on stage.

8:21PM- Julianne Moore wins the Golden Globe as Sarah Palin for the film "Game Change".

8:22PM- Catherine Zeta-Jones presents the first nominee for Musical or Comedy Motion Picture - Les Miserables.

8:31PM- Rosario Dawson presents the second nominee for Musical or Comedy Motion Picture - The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

8:31PM- Salma Hayek and Paul Rudd present the nominees for Actor in a TV Series Drama.

8:33PM- Damian Lewis wins the Golden Globe for his Emmy-winning role on the Showtime drama "Homeland".

8:33PM- "To pick up a little piece of treasure along the way is a great perk."- Damian Lewis

8:34PM- Damian Lewis dedicates his Golden Globe win to his late mother.

8:35PM- Hayek and Rudd also present the nominees for TV Series Drama.

8:35PM- "Homeland" repeats its win for TV Series Drama.

8:42PM- John Goodman with the real-life Tony Mendez, the character Ben Affleck played in "Argo" introduce the first Motion Picture Drama nominee "Argo".

8:44PM- Jennifer Lopez and Jason Statham introduce the nominees for Best Original Score.

8:45PM- Mychael (with a Y) Danna wins the Golden Globe for the score of the film "Life of Pi".

8:47PM- Lopez and Statham also present the nominees for Best Original Song.

8:49PM- "Skyfall" wins the Golden Globe for Best Original Song, written by Adele and Paul Epworth

8:49PM- "I was literally here for a night out.  I was not expecting this."- Adele

8:54PM- Kiefer Sutherland and Jessica Alba present the nominees for Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie.

8:55PM- Tina Fey in disguise

8:55PM- Kevin Costner wins the Golden Globe for his role as Devil Anse Hatfield in the "The Hatfields and McCoys".

8:58PM- Wow, a surprise.  Former President Bill Clinton is on the Golden Globe stage to a standing ovation.

8:58PM- "A tough bill to push through a divided House of Representatives."- Bill Clinton

8:59PM- President Clinton introduces the second film nominated for Motion Picture Drama, Lincoln (about the struggle to pass the 13th Amendment).

8:59PM- "We're all here tonight because he did." - Clinton (about Lincoln ending slavery)

9:00PM- Hour 2 begins with Tina Fey (in drag) with Amy Poehler.

9:01PM- Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig present the Golden Globe for Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical.

9:03PM- Ferrell and Wiig do a breakdown of the nominees in the category and their characters.

9:04PM- "Nobody knows what 'The Quartet' is."

9:06PM- Jennifer Lawrence wins the Golden Globe for her role as a young widow in "Silver Linings Playbook".

9:06:PM- "What does it say?  'I beat Meryl!'"- Jennifer Lawrence

9:11PM- John Krasinski and Kristen Bell present the Award for Supporting Actor in Television.

9:12PM- Ed Harris wins for his role as Senator John McCain for the HBO film "Game Change."

9:13PM- Jamie Foxx presents the third Motion Picture Drama nominee "Django Unchained".

9:14PM- Jonah Hill and Megan Fox present the nominees for Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture.

9:16PM- Anne Hathaway wins the Golden Globe for her role as Fantine in "Les Miserables".

9:16PM- "Thank you for this lovely blunt object that I will forever use as a subject against doubt."

9:16PM- "The woman who became the Flying Nun who became Norma Rae who became Mama Gump who became Mary Todd Lincoln."- Anne Hathaway acknowledging fellow nominee Sally Field

9:22PM- Robert Pattinson and Amanda Seyfried present the nominees for Best Screenplay.

9:23PM- Quentin Tarantino wins the Golden Globe for Best Screenplay for "Django Unchained".

9:25PM- Jeremy Irons presents the third Musical or Comedy Motion Picture Nominee "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen".

9:26PM- Debra Messing and Lucy Liu present the nominees for Lead Actor in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy.

9:28PM- Don Cheadle wins the Golden Globe for his role in "House of Lies", which begins its sophomore season on Showtime in about 32 minutes (shhhh, don't tell).

9:29PM- Commercial Break

9:33PM- Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger present the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film.

9:34PM- Amour, from Schwarzenegger's native Austria, wins the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film.

9:35PM- "I never got an award in Hollywood handed to me by an Austrian."- Michael Haneke, director of "Amour"

9:36PM- Nathan Fillion and Lea Michele present the Golden Globe for Actress in a TV Series, Drama.

9:37PM- Claire Danes repeats as Best Actress in a TV Series Drama for "Homeland".  This is Danes's fourth win and fourth nomination at the Globes.

9:38PM- "I would like to thank the HFPA for being so insanely generous towards me, for all these years."- Claire Danes

9:44PM- Sacha Baron Cohen presents the Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature Film.

9:46PM- "Brave" wins the Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature Film.

9:48PM- Liev Schreiber presents the fourth nominee for Motion Picture Drama, "Life of Pi".

9:49PM- Jason Bateman and Aziz Ansari present the nominees for Actress in a Series, Comedy or Musical.

9:51PM- Lena Dunham wins the Golden Globe for Actress in a Series, Musical or Comedy for "Girls", whose sophomore season began on HBO tonight.

9:53PM- "Jud Apatow is the greatest man, and the greatest honorary girl ever."- Lena Dunham

10:21PM- Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon present the Golden Globe for Television Series- Musical or Comedy.

10:22PM- "Girls" wins the Golden Globe for Television Series- Musical or Comedy.  The second season premiered tonight on HBO.

10:24PM- "It took a village to raise this very demented child."- Probably the story of my life

10:29PM- Christian Bale presents the fifth and final nominee for Motion Picture- Musical or Comedy, "Silver Linings Playbook."
10:30PM- Jennifer Garner presents the Golden Globe for Actor in a Motion Picture- Musical or Comedy, after acknowledging a few people that Ben Affleck forgot to in his acceptance speech.

10:31PM- Hugh Jackman wins the Golden Globe for his role as Valjean in "Les Miserables".

10:34PM- Another Commercial Break, only four categories left.

10:38PM- Jeremy Renner presents the fifth (and final) nominee for Motion Picture, Drama, "Zero Dark Thirty".

10:38PM- "Mark Boal and Kathryn Bigelow make really good movies, and some real ****ty ones."- Jeremy Renner (who starred in "The Hurt Locker")

10:39PM- Dustin Hoffman presents the Golden Globe for Motion Picture- Comedy or Musical.

10:40PM- "Les Miserables" wins the Golden Globe for Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical.

10:41PM- Anne Hathaway also forgot to thank people...

10:42PM- Commercial break.  Three more categories left.

10:46PM- George Clooney presents the Golden Globe for Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama.

10:47PM- Jessica Chastain wins the Golden Globe for Actress in a Motion Picture Drama for "Zero Dark Thirty".

10:49PM- Chastain acknowledges Kathryn Bigelow in her acceptance speech, with comparisons to the character Chastain played in "Zero Dark Thirty."

10:50PM- Clooney also presents the Golden Globe for Actor in a Motion Picture Drama, in place of Meryl Streep (who is sick).

10:51PM- Daniel Day-Lewis wins the Golden Globe for Actor in a Motion Picture Drama, for his role as Abraham Lincoln in "Lincoln".

10:53PM- One last Commercial Break.  Motion Picture Drama is coming up after the break.

10:57PM- Julia Roberts presents the final award of the night, Motion Picture Drama.

10:58PM- "Argo" wins the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Drama.

11:00PM-  "We're going home with Jodie Foster!"- Amy Poehler

11:01PM- That is a wrap.  Les Miz and Game Change each won 3 Golden Globes.

Tomorrow night on "The DJBC Happy Hour", a wrap-up of the Golden Globes, plus a recap of the Academy Award nominations.
